.Originally posted by.Gazz1016(/forums/3/topics/411646?page=1#posts-8163797):. If you clear act 3 on suicide difficulty your score will be equal to 110000 + 200.kills + 20.gold – 12.time. Time is in units of seconds, in ingame time. Gold only counts the gold you have at the end, not any spent on scavengers. If I only knew that before I finished insane difficulty. Please make killing salvager possible it’s unbelivable how much score u can lose, by upgrading armor (+1 def), becouse ‘u got tons of gold’. “It doesn’t take any strategy to beat the game if you just take however many steps you want.”You are so wrong.

Have you even played this game? If you run in guns blazing you die.

You have to take turns to ensure you don’t get ganked, by moving forward and picking off enemies in manageable amounts. If you don’t use your steps then you don’t use your abilities – there is no strategy other than “run forward and fight”, which will more than likely lead to nothing more than a swift death. It is unfair to punish a player for using strategy. Even with unlimited steps, you cannot ensure victory, so it’s not as if the difficulty is removed by taking additional steps, which is where your argument falls to nothing.EDIT: Taking this into account – would a melee character be best for getting a highscore? Considering that he could, unlike the mage, actually attack more than once every 8 or so steps.

I had 87k highscore with mage. That means I lack 33K.That equals.JUST.

1,65K gold. If I take into account, what I ‘trashed’ into salvager- I already should have impossible badge.IF I TAKE INTO ACCOUNT. – I could just sit on boss room and kill tentacles/mobs for score, striking with fireball every 2/3 sec. (was actually planning to, but I though I’ll get 120K just for finishing on suicide –. Just got the impossible badge. Did it with the ranger. When I was just farming morale to get the Sniper trait I ended up almost getting the imp badge on accident.

Here is my first score, with Faithful Friend/Runner.!(I ran Act 3 with Sniper/Runner!(wished I had stayed with Faithful Friend, I never even noticed the extra sight and my hit chance wasn’t that bad really. The dog dying a lot really screwed me up a couple times though. The trick is to just go as fast as possible. Don’t search for treasure, but if you see it get it. If any enemy comes on your screen at all you kill it. Take an exit as soon as you see it unless there is treasure or an enemy in sight. My upgrade path both times wasMax ArcheryMax Well Trained.Last skill was either Poison Arrow if I had a useless skill on my bar, or Toughness if I had useful skills.Stat priority.Attack Speed HP Defense Everything elseSeriously, attack is.everything!.

Weapon damage means nothing. You should only be using Bow to attack, then kiting until Bow is off cooldown. Or other offensive skills if you get them. For spells, Bless Weapon is almost required for a good run. Aside from that you just want to take CC spells (Fear, Sleep, Magic Mirror, Charm, and Vital Strike with certain weapons.)After playing this game a great deal I feel the only two classes that could get that imp badge are ranger and pugilist.

The rest seem pretty weak in comparison, at least for blazing through the act. Also act 3 is a joke as a ranger.

Daze can be ignored since every turn is Bow Wait Wait Some buff Bow. Then just barely get the boss in sight and spam Bow Wait until he’s dead. Nice, original tactic ChefBoyardee.Tho, ranger & pug are not everything.Done it with mage, I bet it’s even possible to score 140k+.3rd act.+30% gold/gold & int ring for start.Burn summon scroll on 1st level.3x fireball → inspi → max fireball → forcefield → magic peneTho, there’re other variances.I was clearing everything to get extra gold, but I’m wondering If ‘rush’ as on your ranger would be more optimal. For comparision: I had 99,3k on ranger in 77min, 500 gold, 170 kills.I’m usually 1,5k gold on mage. It equals 20k score difference which means u could easily get badge playing extra-safe, without worrying about time.Average clearing time is 55 I think.

I just managed to get the Impossible badge after quite a few attempts, so I’m going to try and relay what I did to try and help others.!(are my successful Suicide runs on Act 3, and you can definitely see quite a variation in the scores here. Ranger is widely accepted as probably the best class to do an Act 3 run with, but the trick is to balance killing enemies and rushing to the next stage. As it is apparent from the screenshot, Money + Kills Time.

You generally want to be as fast as possible, under 60:00 preferably, but there’s a lot more leniency depending on how much gold you get on the way to the boss. The caveat is that you can’t spend anything at the scavenger, unless you really need a health potion or something. There’s always a chance you’ll find good equipment on a run, so don’t buy anything from him.As Chef Boyardee stated above, Attack is the most important stat to have increased, followed by Speed and Health. Generally you’re going to be very squishy anyway, but a few extra HP can mean the difference between staying alive long enough to chug a health restoration item or death. Try and get speed as high as possible without sacrificing any of the other two, as Palace Guards/Raptors/Horrors can and will kill you quickly with their insane speeds. As far as skills go, Bless Weapon is very helpful for the most part, only losing a bit of effectiveness at the final map since you’ll have your dog doing most of the damage here anyway.

Fear/Sleep are great for obvious reasons, although you might want to have an Offering or two for emergency purposes. Fireball is great for having a second ranged weapon, but it’s also very luck dependent due to the huge magic resist enemies seem to have in Suicide. Glide is mostly for running purposes, but it and Berserk are helpful if you absolutely need to engage in close ranged combat.Poisoned Arrow is actually a really nice skill to help take down those Horrors and Palace Guards, but I would ignore it unless you can’t find another good skill by the time it comes around. My upgrade tree went like this: Archery x3 Well-Trained x3 Blood Link. If you’re heavily using your dog to damage sponge enemies, I’d sneak in Blood Link after the first or second Well-Trained so he can benefit from the health orbs that drop. It is also very very useful in conjunction with the Heal skill and your potions. With all of that said, there are a few areas of the game that become luck based.3-1 is all about carefully drawing aggro and killing the archers before they can attack you.

Take out Guard Captains before they can join up with large groups of enemies; otherwise, they’ll quickly overwhelm you.3-2 and 3-3 are largely the same, but for the latter map, too many Academy Guardians can make your life very, very tough. Kite them as best you can and don’t back yourself into a corner.3-4 is dangerous because you have most of the enemies of the last three levels in addition to the ever dreaded Conjurers and Dominatrix.

KOS a Conjurer if you see one, and if you don’t kill it, run until it can’t see you anymore. Beware of Academy Guardians here.3-5 will end your run if the RNG deals you an unfavorable hand.

If more than one Cockatrice spawns in conjunction with the Horror that can daze you, you are effectively SOL unless you have Blink/Teleport. Very carefully draw aggro down and take out each monster one by one otherwise.3-6 is hoping that the game doesn’t spawn too much around the entrance. If it’s just Raptors you can OHKO with your bow, you’re good unless there’s a huge swarm of them. Carefully make your way up and kill whatever you can.3-7 and 3-8 are easily the most dangerous stages in the act, as running into an unfavorable enemy layout will be very bad for you. Prioritize Palace Guards and Horrors if you see them, and take out Raptors without drawing other aggro. The boss is fairly straightforward, but kill Horrors before spawning the tentacles and eyes, and then prioritize the floating eyeballs so you don’t get dazed.

A Potion of Reflection will trivialize the boss itself, but if you don’t have one, make sure you have enough healing items to outpace the damage + bleed status it inflicts on you. I actually wouldn’t recommend sticking around to kill things here because you can very quickly get overwhelmed if you get hit by too many daze spells. Football manager 2015. Most of the tactics here are correct. I got a 131.8k run with a ranger sniper/runner (act 3 suicide, 161 kills, 815 gold, 37:05 gold).

I had fireball, heal, and berserk although none seemed essential to having a successful run. Try to clear most of the enemies in the first few levels, they’re less dangerous and pretty efficient (moves/kill). In the later levels avoid the stronger monsters if they’re not directly in your way and try to make your dog fight them. Try to use your dog’s health as an asset and let him tank as much as possible while you kite people. Try to play aggressive the first few acts until you get a quick run that killed a lot of guys and then you can play relatively cautious for the rest and you shouldn’t have a problem. I just earned the impossible badge on my first suicide act 3 run using the ranger sniper/runner.

By stage 5, I wasn’t really dealing the damage anymore, it was all the dog. I just macro’d him with the command spell and made him gather the health, and attack enemies and it was easy.965g, 52:18, 151 kills.I think that the trick in getting the impossible badge is just collecting money. Never spend a dime and it’s easy to get. Also, during the boss fight I went to the top left corner and just had my dog kill Shuirath.

I never even got attacked. My spells were Poison arrow, sleep, and frost. A bit of a necro, but if anyone has issues regarding what the ‘subclasses’ are and the EXACT formula for how the game calculates points, click on the link below for all those details. I’m not sure if it’s still being updated, but for the most part, everything in it (regarding the stats of the classes on all the difficulties, the dog scaling, recommended builds, and enemy stats) appears to be accurate!https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OznLiHUeh0O29WtwuWlOxoC0x9KgZ8OwWg0yyIIp0/edit#gid=(https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OznLiHUeh0O29WtwuWlOxoC0x9KgZ8OwWg0yyIIp0/edit#gid=).
