Pikmin 3 Final Boss
Bosses in Pikmin are larger and stronger than other enemies, and may require some specific task to take down. Often, bosses have attacks capable of killing many Pikmin at once. For this reason, a tight-knit group is generally more effective against bosses than a large army. When fighting bosses, a different piece of music plays at the more active parts of the fight, such as when a Man-at-Legs. Emperor Bulblax is the final boss of Pikmin, and reappears in Pikmin 2 not as the final boss, but as a more common boss. The Emperor Bulblaxes have much less health in this game, and lose their high-jumping ability that they had in Pikmin 1 when half their heath had gone.
Olimar’s escort will always follow, who is marked with a pink flag.As soon as you enter the cave, the chase begins. Take note of the concrete barrier just below the blob in the tunnel. You’ll be returning there soon.Keep most of your and all of your crew as close together as possible, though its okay to let Olimar’s escort lag behind. Rush forward into the sunny chamber ahead.then straight through to the open tunnel on the far side.At the split in the tunnel, take the left-hand fork near the eggs. You’ll encounter a group of Bulborbs.
Very quickly dispatch them with Red and Rock Pikmin.Rush to the sand wall and hurl Pikmin to tear it down.As soon as it falls, equip Rock Pikmin and set them to attacking the glass wall on the left. Leave them working with a crew member to keep them company. Take the same loop back around that you used before but this time break toward the tunnel you began the level on.Remember the concrete gate you saw at the beginning of the stage?
That’s where you’re headed.Rush back there and reduce the gate to rubble with your three explosives.Kaboom!Sprint straight through the opening and into the tunnel opposite the gate.Clear this crystal with Rock Pikmin. When you emerge in an open chamber, ignore the sand wall your right and instead cut left into another tunnel. You’ll enter a dark cavern. Follow the natural lighting ahead of you, and be careful to avoid allowing your trailing Pikmin to flounder in a pool.Stay on the lower level, following the contour of the floor and the unlit lamps. When you see this pool, keep to the right.Tou'll find a tile mound just beyond it. Set Pikmin to grabbing tiles and continue past it.Reduce this wall in your path and continue following lights.Break right here and loop around the incline. You will soon come to the second tile set. These will complete the bridge on the second level.Pass through this narrow gap between the pool and the wall. You'll find a broken circuit.Light it up with Yellow Pikmin. This will cause flowers to bloom near the bridge, creating a new path. A narrow ledge just ahead of you next to the tunnel you entered from leads up. If you have time, proceed to the second floor and follow the instructions listed in our guide.
