The way that you have to complete maps to earn items and characters. I also like that you can collect multiple animal characters. An OP part of the game is the global multiplier. Though this game has all of these great things about it, there is something that I would like to change. The first thing is that when I reach a like “spring” (forgot the actual name) and I still have a quarter of dash left, it drains it as I’m going into the air. Same as when I go into the air before a boss, I had like 3 quarters of dash left and it drained the entire thing as I was swiping to do those “moves” in mid-air. How I would like to fix these things is by doing this.

I am disappointed that the server connection is so bad with this game. I thought it was my WiFi so started playing with cellular data but the game still crashes at least 3 times within an hour of game play. The crashing wouldn’t be so bad if every time it happened I lost about 14 points.

Each race I win I only earn 1 point so if the game crashes 3 times I lose a total of 42 points. I would have to play another 2 hours just to get back where I was in points. I like the game but what’s the point of playing a game that you can’t progress in? Another point I like to make is that I never get matched up with a racing opponent that is on the same level as I am. Their are 7 leagues and I am currently in league 6 but constantly being paired up with racers in league 1.

I am starting to realize that once you get to a certain level in this game it starts to become pointless to play. Don’t waste your time with this game. So many other games out their that are designed properly. The sevelopers of the game SEGA & Hard Lite should not be getting as much praise as they are getting for making junk!!

First suggestion: Same, repetitive music is annoying; some time ago during an anniversary for Sonic when you could play and unlock classic Sonic and his original Green Hill Zone, the original Green Hill Zone music was playing in that zone. Bring that back, please! Also, a change in music per zone would be nice.boss music plays, so different Zones with different music would be outstanding (perhaps music that originally associated with the Zones in the game).Second suggestion: More than Zazz and Dr.

Ivo Robotnik (Dr. Eggman for non original Sega Genesis Sonic players) as bosses. Perfect Chaos would be an awesome boss, albeit probably difficult to incorporate into the app, and Metal Sonic would be a great addition for a boss as well since Metal is older than Zazz in order of bosses.Third suggestion: More Zones, if at all possible. Same four or five Zones can be droll, even if obstacles and path changes.

Gameplay

Sonic Dash (Mod APK) is played as an endless runner game where the player-controlled character runs on a 3 lane track. The track is filled with various objects that are intended to stop the players from running. In the game, the player movers forward automatically at a gradually increasing pace. The player character is directed through levels, where it has to collect rings, avoid obstacles and perform a certain set of activities to accomplish the given tasks.

The game begins with a popup on the first run asking the player to enter their age and takes them through SEGA’s privacy policy. Thereafter a brief tutorial begins explaining the controls of the game. When enough rings are collected, the Dash Meter at the bottom of the screen fills letting players perform the Dash Boost. Dash Boost is similar to the Sonic Boom or Boost. During the Dash Boost period which lasts for five seconds, the player can automatically blast through obstacles. The other two currencies in the game are Red Star Rings and Gems. Red Star Rings are special collectible rings that are also available as an in-app purchase. They used for a variety of tasks the primary one being as an in-game payment to unlock extra game features, such as new playable characters.

The goal is simply to run as far as possible and gain a high-score without hitting a wall, falling off the course, or taking a hit with no Rings in possession.

Like its predecessor, Sonic Dash 2 is an eternal chase against Dr Eggman (Hey, if you think that fat old dude can’t book it, try and catch him at the very end of the original Sonic the Hedgehog sometime). You’ll dash below overhangs and through enemies, jump over spikes and wind your way through the environment until eventually the action gets too fast and you make a mistake. There are no levels to dash through or single-player missions to complete. Climbing the leaderboards to best your friends and Game Center opponents is your only goal. But you can literally pay your way to the top of these leaderboards if you’re willing to spend enough premium red rings. I’m in fifth place on my friends list. Are my four friends just better than me, or did they pay up? I have no way of knowing. Sonic Dash is a leaderboard-centric game where you can’t trust the integrity of the leaderboard.

The standard golden rings you collect can be banked during a run and spent afterwards in a power-up shop on all the usual boosts – head starts, ring magnets and a super dash boost. There is literally no upgrade or item that hasn’t been seen before. If coins are accumulating too slowly for your taste you can purchase a coin doubler for $3.99 or coin packs for $0.99 – $49.99.

And I mention the moneymen because, while there’s good stuff to talk about with Sonic Dash, the entire game is framed and ultimately spoiled by in-app purchases. Sonic Dash costs £1.49 upfront and uses rings and red stars as currencies – the former picked up and banked in-game, the latter awarded rarely and used to unlock new characters and buy continues. The standard ring-doubling booster will set you back £2.49 – pretty cheeky, I thought – but even with this you’ll acquire upgrades at a snail’s pace, and without additional purchases or some pretty dedicated play it won’t unlock more than one character, if that. So: £4 for an endless runner, and a few more quid each if you fancy playing as Knuckles or Tails.
